Does olive oil really cure damaged hair?

I recently bleached my hair blonde and trust me it was not easy going from black hair to blonde, No stylist wanted to even do it! So i was left to do it myself. First i had to strip the color out of my hair because i have dyed it black so many times. My hair is naturally dark brown but i always thought it looked better pure black. I was growing tierd of the same ol color so i decided to go blonde. Hoo rah! Not.. I have bleached my hair 6 times in the last two weeks. My hair is so extremely damaged!! Not to mention im not even at that blonde tone that i want and my hair is very mix matched from silver, yellow, and of course orange. My hair got to damaged to go on any longer so i had to stop at least until it heals. I have used many oils including coconut oil, argon oil and extra virgin olive oil. All seemed to work but the olive oil seemed like it penetrated a lot more than the others. At first i hated it because it turned my orange/ yellow parts of my hair way dark when i put it on and i was getting frustrated but little did i know that once i washed it out all was okay and went back to the normal color it was before i had put it on. After leaving it on for 5 hours at most my hair really felt soft and not so frizzy. It also made it look better then the coconut or argon oil. I highly prefer it for damaged hair!
